Ville de Lyon is a 10 to 12 foot vine that proudly bears beautifully rounded carmine flowers that shade to deep crimson around the edges. Lovely velvety texture and contrasting golden stamens create a striking blossom. The 5 to 6 inch blooms are born form June to September.

Niobe

Clematis ‘Niobe’ was raised in 1975 and is moderately vigorous. It is one of the most stunning clematis hybrids available, with large flowers opening as black ruby red velvet. The colour then changes to a brighter shade as it matures. The cream stamens contrast nicely on the rich velvety sepals. It flowers right through the Summer, the earlier Spring flowers being 15cm (6in.) or more.

Viticella MME Julia Correvon

CLEMATIS Mme.Julia Correvon (viticella) – 4″ true red, vigorous, flowering most of the Summer. Profusely blooming with petite nodding bells. Also will do well in containers. Only needs to have its roots shaded and its flowers in the sun. From mid Summer to late Autumn, wine red star-shaped flowers, with yellow anthers, cover the plant. It is a more compact variety which makes it perfect for growing in a container. As with most clematis of the viticella group is also shows good resistance to clematis wilt.
